She is seen as exemplary by all those in her organisation where she and other care givers look after 524 households, training families to take care of those who are ill, those who are bed ridden and sick with HIV and AIDS. She helps with the provision of ARV’s from the local hospital in Ga-kgapane, provides counselling and encourages testing. She loves to help everyone including orphans and those affected by HIV and AIDS in the family.
Agnes believes that effective care comes from everyone
working together to give what they can. She liaises with the hospitals, clinics, social workers and government. Agnes also regularly gives health talks in her community to prevent the spread of HIV and runs a support group for her community.
