These cheesy Viennas in clouds of deep-fried batter are a fun and delicious little treat.

Ingredients:

 

350 g

Eskort Mini Cheese Viennas

1 pack

flapjack mix

1 pot

oil for frying

125 ml (½ C)

flour

12

wooden skewers

Method:

  • Heat the pot of oil over moderate heat.

  • Mix the flapjack batter per the packaging instructions.

  • Skewer each Mini Vienna and dip into the flour.

  • Dip each skewered Vienna into the batter until evenly coated.

  • Deep fry the coated Viennas in the simmering oil until they have puffed up and turned golden brown.

Tip

  • Add bacon and/or dried fruit to the leftover batter and make mini flapjacks.

SPECIAL NOTE: Wooden skewers should be removed to prevent possible harm to children.
