Malva Pudding Mugs
Malva Pudding Mugs

Ingredients:

 

250 ml

flour

30 g

butter

250 ml

milk

5 ml

bicarbonate of soda

2

eggs, beaten

250 ml

apricot jam

15 ml

lemon juice

Maple Bacon Glaze:

 

250 ml

Eskort Diced Bacon, fried

60 ml

custard

30 ml

maple syrup

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C,

  2. Mix the flour and butter together to form a crumbly mixture.

  3. Mix the milk and bicarbonate of soda together and add to the flour along with the remaining ingredients.

  4. Pour batter into 6 enamel mugs about ¾ full. Bake for 30 minutes, or until a cake tester comes out clean.

For the Maple Bacon Glaze:

  1. Fry the bacon until crispy, then add the maple syrup and custard and simmer together for a few minutes.

  2. Serve over the hot malva puddings.

  3. Add extra custard if you like!
